Welcome to the second semester of your senior year and to my Government class!
You are about to embark on an incredible journey. This is one of my favorite subjects to teach because politics is alive and all around us. Many people say that American youth is indifferent to the actions of the government, but I know that this is not true. Many of you care deeply about political issues such as the war, funding for education, and equal rights. This course will enhance your knowledge of the American system of government so that you will be able to intelligently discuss political issues and become actively involved members of society.
