POLLSTERS: Develop a poll to gauge public opinion about issues important to voters, and the voters' perception of your candidate, in order to help your campaign.
MEDIA CONSULTANTS: Create a 30-45 second commercial for your candidate. This MUST be a video on a flash drive. See historic ads for examples: http://www.livingroomcandidate.org/
TECHNOLOGY CONSULTANTS: Create the websites and social media accounts for your candidate, and upload content.
DIRECT MAIL CONSULTANT: Create a printed ad about your candidate, which you will hand out to the voters. For examples, see: http://www.p2012.org/comms/campaignlitintro.html
CANDIDATES: Work with SPEECHWRITERS to develop the tone and theme of your campaign. Write the 2-minute speech you will deliver in front of class on Wednesday. For examples of campaign themes, see: http://www.presidentsusa.net/campaignslogans.html
CANDIDATES and SPEECHWRITERS: Watch one of Obama's most famous speeches during the 2008 election to find out how it's done:

Oh, and CANDIDATES, you probably want to see what your campaign team has created beforehand, and approve it. The strongest campaigns have a clear theme, and all campaign materials align to that theme. See you on Wednesday!
